I wanted to experiment with the effects that were going to be used in the film. So I went to the scene that required a rain effect to start with. To make it easier and so i didn't have to backtrack later I added all the in-between frames into the PNG sequence and coloured it in using the new colour scheme:
I then taking reference from the rough cut scene put the frames into after effects and added the camera effects:
Finally, I looked up how to create rain in after effects and then applied the effects, changing the sliders until I was satisfied with the overall feel:
